All 10 rooms are decorated by us with great care and attention. Each room has its own style.

The rooms feature comfortable beds and all amenities such as a TV and free internet. The beds are made ready and the bathrooms feature both large and small towels. Soap and shampoo are provided in refillable pumps, to save the environment. Curious about what we do even more to operate sustainable?

The Interrogation Room was intended for “hearing”. Declarations and confessions were taken in this room, which were written down by the police officers with the help of an old-fashioned typewriter.

When Perruque was still a police station …

A confrontation room is used for anonymous designation of suspects by witness (s). In the absence of a real room, however, suspects in Koudum had to stand “in the hallway” in front of the mirror window in question with some improvisation.

Adjutant concerns the highest petty officer rank at the National Police Force. Requirements: 12 years of service and the B diploma. The Adjutant was recognizable by his rank distinction mark on the shoulder: the dot.

The Supreme Guard Master is the second highest non-commissioned officer rank at the National Police. This rank could be achieved after the rank of Guard 1, at least 5 years of service and obtaining the B diploma. Recognizable by the rank distinction mark on the shoulder: a wreath with crossed swords.

A Guard 1 was recognizable by 3 stripes on the shoulder; his rank distinguishing sign. At the National Police, was hierarchically under the Supreme Guard. This rank could be achieved as a Guardian after at least 5 years of service.

The police station in Koudum was part of the Hemelumer Oldeferd group (HO Group). It fell under the National Police Force and consisted of 4 districts. Similar to the small former municipalities of Workum, Staveren, Hindeloopen and Hemelumer Oldeferd. Each district had its own commander; the District Commander.

The police station in Koudum was part of the Hemelumer Oldeferd group (HO Group).

The HO Group fell under the National Police Force and consisted of 4 districts. This concerned the small municipalities of Workum, Staveren, Hindeloopen and Hemelumer Oldeferd. Koudum was the head office in this Group; the mail. The Post Commander was the commander here.

During the 1-year course at the police school of the Dutch Police, students received the grade Candidate until they obtained the A diploma. Recognizable by 1 line on the shoulder; his rank distinguishing sign. Once graduated, they could start working for the State Police as a Guardian and further develop themselves by building up years of service and training.
